Insurance Claims Services are Public Loss Assessors who handle insurance claims only for the public, and not for insurance companies.

We are dedicated to the needs of the consumer, making sure that the client, the claimant, receives everything covered by the insurance policy and as quickly as possible.

We handle every type of insurance claim, except Motor Vehicle Personal Injury and Workers Compensation.

We also investigate insurance claims that have been denied by an insurance company and frequently can obtain payment where the denial has been wrong or flawed. (See News below).

We can operate on an hourly basis or on a contingency fee basis of "no success, no fee". Some insurance policies pay for our costs, but where they don't the extra we obtain for the client will usually far exceed the cost of our fees.

MICHAEL ARNOLD, Managing Director

Michael Arnold has been managing Director of Insurance Claims Services since founding the company in 1990. He has extensive experience in the insurance industry since 1957.

His career commenced in the U.K., and with the Royal Exchange Assurance he held management positions in various countries in West Africa. With the same company he became Manager for South East Asia. He then joined American International Underwriters as Manager for Malaysia and was later Regional Director for Asia for Lloyds Insurance Brokers, J.H. Minet.

Michael is a Member of the Institute of Public Loss Assessors (UK), the Institute of Public Insurance Assessors and the Australian Institute of Risk Management.

Recent insurance claims problems solved by Insurance Claims Services include:

  • $390,000 disability benefits paid to a farmer whose claim had been denied by an insurer

  • Fire claim for $85,000 paid in Bathurst where a claim had been turned down

  • Theft claim for $25,000 diamond ring from a Sydney jeweller. Claim originally denied but paid after our investigation

  • Theft claim for Mercedes saloon. Claim denied by insurer but paid following our intervention

  • Substantial vibration damage to a private house. Claim denied by insurer, but eventually paid after our appointment to investigate

  • Total loss of a yacht by fire. Claim denied by insurer but paid following our investigation
